Who we are

IRL Arena is a friendly-competition scoreboard for real-life activities. IRL Arena and PIRL Co are operated by Jamnaytac LLC (“we”, “us”). Contact: privacy@irlarena.com.

What we collect

  • Account: your email address (via Amazon Cognito) and the display name you choose. Your display name is what other members of your arenas see.
  • Social sign-in (optional): if you sign up with Google or Apple, we receive and store your email address and name from the provider — and from Google, your profile picture. We never receive your password from them. Apple lets you hide your real email behind a private relay address, which works fine here. If you also have an email/password account with the same verified email, the two become one account rather than duplicates.
  • Arenas & membership: the groups you create or join, their invite codes, your role in them, and each arena’s points rules.
  • Activity logs: the activities you record — the type (biking, running, swimming, walking, hiking, strength training), the quantity (miles or minutes), the date, and any note you add. Everything is entered by hand. The app does not track your location, use GPS, or read data from your phone’s sensors.

How we use it

To run the game: compute points, show leaderboards and race charts to the members of your arenas, and keep your activity history. We do not sell your personal information, and the app contains no advertising or third-party analytics. Our marketing site (www.irlarena.com) uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, a cookieless service that reports only aggregate traffic statistics — it sets no cookies and does not identify or track you.

Sharing

  • Your display name, logged activities, points, and standings are visible to the other members of each arena you’re in — that’s the product. An activity only appears in arenas whose rules count its activity type.
  • Nothing about you is visible to people outside your arenas.
  • Infrastructure providers (AWS: Amazon Cognito for sign-in, AppSync and Aurora for data) process data on our behalf.

Children & managed members

Account holders must be at least 13. For younger kids (or anyone who’d rather not have an account), arenas support managed members:

  • A managed member is created and fully controlled by an adult guardian in the arena. The child has no login and no credentials.
  • We collect no contact information from the child — only the display name the guardian chooses and the activities the guardian records.
  • The guardian can rename a managed member or delete the profile and its activity history at any time.

Future integrations

If we launch automatic imports (for example Strava or Garmin), they will be strictly opt-in: nothing is connected or imported unless you explicitly authorize it, and we’ll update this policy before those features ship.

Retention & deletion

Your account, arenas, and activity history are kept while your account is active so your all-time standings work. You can delete individual activities in the app at any time, and you can request account and data deletion at privacy@irlarena.com.

Your controls

  • Edit your display name in the app.
  • Delete any activity you logged (or logged for a managed member).
  • Arena admins can change points rules and rename their arena.
  • Request full deletion by email — see above.

We’ll update this page and the “last updated” date for material changes.
